As Clinical Research Nurse, your role is paramount to maintaining the safety of our volunteers, utilising nursing skills such as drug administration, venepuncture, cannulation, ECG, telemetry, vital sign monitoring and spirometry to assess the input of the new medications.

Developing new drugs is key to the future health of the nation.  Through our client’s clinical trials, they have helped to improve and develop treatments for asthma, diabetes, heart disease, irritable bowel syndrome and many other conditions.

As part of your initial training you will undertake an external course on Immediate Life Support and there will be opportunities to undertake Advanced Life Support in the future.  In addition, we offer a number of internal training modules all which will work towards your CPD.

The role of Clinical Research Nurse will involve shift work.
