Cognitive Neuroscience Jobs, Psychiatry Research Jobs, Cognitive Assessment Research Vacancies.  Zest Scientific Recruitment has been instructed by a leading provider of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify a Clinical Data Scientist to join a growing team of Scientists with a background in Psychiatry, Psychology, Cognitive Assessment or Neuroscience.  This is a Cambridge based role where you will join a multi-disciplinary team, primarily responsible for analyzing clinical and health economic outcomes and would be perfect for a PhD level Scientist looking to make the transition into the commercial sector.

 

The organisation works in partnership with the NHS, providing therapy to those suffering from depression, anxiety and other related conditions.  The business is generating highly valuable data which is helping develop innovative practices which are improving the delivery of care.  The Clinical Data Specialist will assess the performance of each contract, assisting Business Development and Sales teams in order to help them communicate clinical outcomes and economic savings which have resulted from the service.

 

This opportunity is within a rapidly growing business so it’s essential that you have the ability to work across conflicting projects and have the ability to adapt and help other disciplines depending on the business priority.  This is a fluid environment working under a Chief Scientist who is internationally recognized within this field so it presents an outstanding opportunity to be mentored by a key opinion leader within the sector and develop a broad skills set. 

 

The successful candidate will work with UK academic partners to evaluate the effectiveness of new evidence based treatment protocols including combinations of psychological and pharmacological intervention.  You will draw upon your experience in statistical methods and data visualization to interpret the clinical outcomes compared to national clinical data from HSCIC.

 

We are interested in speaking to candidates with a PhD / MSc in a related field (Psychology, Cognitive Therapy, Neuroscience) with a grounding in statistical methods.  Statistical computing experience using IBM Watson, SPSSS or R packages is an advantage.  The ideal candidate will be able to leverage influence with internal and external stakeholders so it’s important that you have good communication and presentation skills.  Equally important is the ability to adapt and actively contribute in team oriented projects.
