Zest Scientific is seeking an individual who demonstrates the technical proficiency to run IHC projects.  This is a ‘hands on’ role with some additional mentorship responsibility.  The best description is Project Management coupled with associate Lab Management responsibility.   This is a truly unique role given the scope for individual personal development and we are not limiting our search to a specific region and are interested in speaking to candidates across the whole of the UK as we are offering an attractive relocation package to secure the services of the right candidate.  The position is based within close proximity to Worcester and Gloucester.

The Study Project Manager will engage with pharmaceutical clients and other CROs to identify technical requirements and create procedures which ensure studies are GLP and GCP compliant and key study objectives are achieved.

It is essential that applicants can demonstrate extensive practical experience of Immunohistochemistry techniques (both automated and manual methods) as the Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring methods and techniques are strictly adhered to and there is high quality output.  You will supervise a small team of Lab Technicians providing mentorship and technical input on practical IHC techniques.

You will identify process improvement opportunities and develop a training programme which addresses technical weaknesses within the team.  Previous experience conducting Tissue Cross Reactivity studies within a preclinical environment is highly desirable.

Salary is flexible depending on the successful candidate level of experience.  In addition, there is an attractive performance bonus and a range of benefits available.  In order to secure the services of the right candidate a relocation package is available.  In order to discuss this opportunity in greater detail contact Zest Scientific today on 0114 2381724 or forward an updated CV to matthew.morland@zestbusinessgroup.com
