Zest Scientific is recruiting an experienced Resource Manager within the Clinical Operations function of a major player in the Pharma sector. This role is responsible for the UK.

The UK Clinical Operations Resource Manager is accountable for proactive oversight and management of local department resources, planning and forecasting activities in resource management tools. You will ensure the resource assignment process is transparent and meets local and global needs; collaborating with study teams and partners to ensure robust and accurate resourcing data. You will be responsible for the accurate reflection of resources in the functional budget, and that local planning meets the required global process.
You will promote continuous improvement and maintain consistency, contributing to the development of optimised standards, supporting study level resourcing plans and associated reporting. Delivering resource capacity reports and scenario analyses, you will collaborate with the financial department to implement an accurate cross-charging model for budget management. You will also deliver training interventions to align the planning and resource allocation process.
To be considered for the role, you are someone with a university degree (or equivalent) in finance, business analytics or a science related field. Your experience in clinical research/development will be complimented by your ability to build relationships and influence the acceptance of ideas through persuasion strategies. You will establish an action plan by setting priorities, establishing timelines and leveraging resources.

Your ability to inspire, build trust and influence allows you to create highly effective relationships, both internal and external, ensuring that you are able to act as the single point of contact for resource management issues. It is critical that you are a creative thinker, able to think outside the box to enable creative resourcing solutions to be considered. You are able to facilitate and lead both internal and external staff in productive discussions, acting as an impartial party where needed to ensure effective and efficient delivery with our resources.
