Project Manager - Document Management
Zest Scientific recruitment is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate the activities of a multidisciplinary team proving document solutions to Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research Organisations. We are seeking a candidate with clinical operations experience within the pharmaceutical industry. This opportunity will also suit a candidate without the Clinical Operations experience but has Project Management experience gained delivering software solutions to the Clinical Research market.
The Project Manager will liaise with the customer and work with internal groups (Operations, Project Management & IT) to ensure effective delivery and implementation in line with pre defined timescales and within budget. As the primary contact you will set up and coordinate the initial pilot project; identifying issues and relaying this information to both the Business Development team and the client in order to highlight areas which need addressing to ensure that a long term project plan can be delivered.
This is a customer facing role and the Project Manager will be expected to build good business relationships and leverage influence with the customer with a view to securing further projects. You will also be involved in supporting the activities of Business Development teams, providing specialist input at client meetings and helping with proposal development. You will have excellent attention to detail, preparing project initiation documents and clearly detailing to project team members the project objectives and key milestones.
It is essential that you can delegate and coordinate the activities of multiple team members. The role requires excellent people skills (both internal and external) and a strong understanding of the drug development process. Previous document management experience is particularly desirable and knowledge of ICH/GCP is essential. Previous experience using Microsoft Project is desirable.
Salary ranges from £40,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + a number of additional benefits. The base salary will reflect the candidate level of experience and the range demonstrate that the client is flexible on some of the minimum recruiting criteria.
