Zest Scientific are working alongside a leading Health Tech organisation in the UK, and we have been asked to identify an expert within the In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device space.

Our client are building at-home health monitoring tools and medical diagnostic products to ultimately help in the early detection and prevention of disease and making healthcare more accessible.

This highly visible role will work across the entire organisation (products, engineering, marketing, data science etc.) to support the IVD development framework and to ensure that the relevant evaluations are included as they progress IVDs through to the market.

They're looking for someone who is comfortable with making strategic decisions off the back of limited information and applying a staged approach maturing their understanding of the opportunity from an initial concept to a full blown market entry plan all whilst putting appropriate go / no-go decision points in place.

  • You want to break new ground and develop pioneering IVDs.

I’m looking to speak to people with…

  • Extensive knowledge of the healthcare systems, health economics, and policy in key markets such as EU, UK and US. – Particularly their impact on IVD development.
  • Working knowledge of medical device regulations such as; EU-MDR and FDA-IVD frameworks.
  • Experience in telehealth or at-home health monitoring – highly desirable.
