Medical Science Liaison Manager (MSL Manager) – UK & Ireland

Are you an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with a background in the therapeutic areas of Oncology, Haematology, Immunology, Gastroenterology or Endocrinology in the UK? Our client - a global pharmaceutical business - is actively seeking a MSL Manager to work the territory of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Specifically, they are looking for individuals with demonstrable skill sets in developing KOL engagement, managing MSL activities, and contributing to the development of the MSL strategy for the UK.

The key to the success of an applicant lies in: the ability to demonstrate a number of years’ experience generating KOL engagement in light of a product launch into the UK market; alongside a strong communication history in liaising with the Sales and Market Access teams in developing a strategic product plan.

The candidate:

  • Will have a number of years’ experience working in a Medical Science Liaison/Medical Advisor background along with a relevant life science / pharmaceutical degree. (PhD/MD preferred)
  • Will understand necessary procedures and steps to develop KOL engagement.
  • Will be experienced in gaining advocacy for a new product launch alongside Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Will have a developed understanding of explaining complex scientific information to HCPs.
  • Will have an understanding of Medical Affairs strategy development, and the management of individuals working across a large territory.
  • Will need a full UK driving licence.
